Muhammad Kabiru Haruna popularly known as Kabiru Gombe is a Nigerian Islamic scholar, cleric, mufassir, and preacher. He is the present national Secretary General of the Jama'atu Izalatul Bidi'ah wa Ikamatus Sunnah, the largest Salafi movement in Nigeria, since December 2011.
Kabiru Gombe started as a youth member of the religious aid
group of JIBWIS who were called Yan Agaji in Hausa,
he then later went to Saudi Arabia to further his religious knowledge
and study Qur'an science. Gombe is the present Secretary General of
the Nigerian Izala Society since December 2011.

considered the spiritual leader of Nigeria's one hundred million Muslims,

Abubakar
is the fifth heir to the two century-old throne founded by his ancestor,
Sheikh Usman Dan Fodio (1754–1817) leader of the Maliki school of
Islam and the Qadiri branch of Sufism.
As the Sultan of Sokoto, Abubakar is the leader of
the Qadiriyya sufi order, which is the most important Muslim
position in Nigeria and senior to the Emir of Kano, the leader of the most
populous Tijaniyya sufi order. He is also the head of Jama'atu
Nasril Islam (Society for the Support of Islam – JNI)
