Surah Al-Mulk (meaning 'The Sovereignty') is the 67th chapter (Surah) of the Qur'an. Surah Al-Mulk has 30 verses (Ayat), 330 words, 1300 letters. Â (Tafsir Al-Khateeb Al-Sharabini Vol 3. Page 367).
Surah Al-Mulk is a Meccan Surah, a Surah that was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) in Mecca. Like any other Surah in the Quran, Surah Al-Mulk is very important.
Below are the three benefits and virtues of reciting the Surah Al-Mulk according to the Sunnah.
1. Surah Al-Mulk will intercede its reciter on the day of Judgement.
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Verily, there is a chapter in the Qur'an which contains thirty Ayat that will intercede on behalf of its reciter until he is forgiven. (It is): (Blessed be He in Whose Hand is the dominion.)) that is Qur'an chapter 67, Suratul Mulk.

2. Surah Al-Mulk will cause its reciter to enter into Paradise.
Narrated by Anas Ibn Malik (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah said (There is a chapter of the Qur'an that will argue on behalf of its reciter until it causes him to enter into Paradise. (It is): (Blessed be He in Whose Hand is the dominion.) that is Suratul Mulk.

3. Surah Al-Mulk is prevention and salvation delivering from the punishment of the grave.
Narrated by Ibn 'Abbas (may Allaah be pleased with him) that "One of the Companions of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings be upon him) put up a tent upon a grave without knowing that it was a grave. When he realized that is was a person'sgrave, he recited Surat Al-Mulk until its completion. Then he went to the Messenger of Allaah (Pbuh) and said: 'O Messenger of Allaah (Pbuh) [Indeed] I erected my tent without realizing that it was upon a grave. So when I realized there was a person in it I recited Surat Al-Mulk until its completion.'
So the Messenger of Allaah (Pbuh) said: "It (Surah Al-Mulk) is a prevention, it is a salvation delivering from the punishment of the grave."
