Ayatul Kursi is a verse in the Quran located in Quran
surah al-Baqarah verse two hundred and fifty-five (255). Ayatul Kursi is
regarded as the most powerful verse in the Quran. Check out the benefits of

upon him).
1. Narrated by Abu Umaamah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the
Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever reads
"Ayatul Kursi" [Quran 2:255], after every obligatory prayer, nothing
prevents him from entering Paradise except death (i.e. that he is still
alive)."

2. Narrated by 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allaah be
pleased with him): "Allaah has not created in the heavens nor in the earth
what is more magnificent than Ayat Al-Kursi." Sufyan said: "Because
Ayat Al-Kursi is the Speech of Allaah, and the Speech of Allaah is greater than
the creation of Allaah in the heavens and the earth."

3. Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allaah be pleased with
him) that the
Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings be upon him)
said, “If anyone recites in the morning Ha-Mim al-Mu’min to ‘to Him is the
final goal, and the Throne Verse, he will be guarded by them till the evening,
and if anyone recites them in the evening he will be guarded by them till the
morning.”
[Sahih Al-Tirmidhi]
4. Narrated by Abu Hurairah (May Allaah be pleased with
him) that the Messenger of Allaah (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said, “Everything
has a hump and the hump of the Quran is surah al-Baqarah. There is a verse in
it that is the chief of all verses of the Qur’an, the Ayatul Kursi.”

5. Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allaah be pleased with
him) that.the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings be upon) ordered me to
guard the Zakat revenue of Ramadan. Then somebody came to me and started
stealing of the foodstuff. I caught him and said, “I will take you to the
Messenger of Allaah “That person said (to Abu Huraira), “Please don’t take me
to the Messenger of Allaah and I will tell you a few words by which Allaah will
benefit you. When you go to your bed, recite Ayatul Kursi, for then there will
be a guard from Allaah who will protect you all night long, and Satan will not
be able to come near you till dawn.” When the Messenger of Allaah (Pbuh) heard the story he said (to me), “He (who
came to you at night) told you the truth although he is a liar, and it was
Satan.”
