These 7 Sins Will Send You To Hell Fire

Prophet Muhammad (peace and mercy of Allah be upon him) seven sins will send you to hell fire as the most serious in Allah's eyes and advised people to avoid them. These were the "severe killers" or "seven deadly sins", which he identified in a famous custom that is as follows:

1. To associate partner with Allah

They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers. [al-Maaidah 5:72]

2. Practicing Magic or Witchcraft

Witchcraft refers only to those who deal with harm done to people through the use of the jinn, worshipping them instead Allah. He does sometimes harm them with words, actions, and blowing knots. But sometimes, he makes things look different. Allah, may His glory be glorified, stated about the sorcerers in Pharaoh (interpretation):

And from the evil of the blowers in knots [al-Falaq 113:4].

3. To kill the life Allah has forbidden without just cause

The act of killing a person Allah forbids us to kill. This is a grave offense, according to Allah's interpretation;

And whoever kills a believer deliberately, his reward is Jahannam where he shall remain forever and Allah shall be angry with him and shall cast curse upon him and he has prepared for him a mighty punishment. [an-Nisa 4:93].

4. To Indulge In Usury - Riba

Consuming Riba - This refers to eating usury which Allah has prohibited. Allah, may His glory and exaltation be glorified, has spoken concerning it (interpretation);

Those who consume interest1 cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say, "Trade is [just] like interest." But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allah. But whoever returns [to dealing in interest or usury] - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein. - [al-Baqarah 2:275]

5. To Eat Up An Orphans Wealth

The orphan is someone whose father has passed away when they were young and hasn't reached puberty. When it comes to orphans, it is important to show kindness, care, protect, grow, and take proper care of them.

Because the orphan is weak, he has transgressed and taken advantage of his wealth. This warning is for him. However, he is not a believer. He is a sinner as long as he doesn't consider that permissible.

6. Fleeing from the battlefield.

Fleeing from battle. When Muslims confront disbelievers in war, the one who flees to desert his brothers on the battle day (when the Muslims march towards the non Muslims) is subjected this stern warning (interpretation the meaning);

for, whoever on that day turns his back on them-unless it be in a battle manoeuvre or in an endeavour to join another troop [of the believers] - shall indeed have earned the burden of God's condemnation, and his goal shall be hell: and how vile a journey's end. [al-Anfaal 8:16]

7. Slandering chaste, innocent believing women.

The one who insults chaste females, or accuses them of fornication or adultery, by saying: So or so committed zina or So or so called someone to do zina. But he lies - this is one the seven sins that condemn one to Hell. For which one should be sentenced to eighty whips, as Allah, may He exalt, says (interpretation):

Those who accuse honourable women (of unchastity) but do not produce four witnesses, flog them with eighty lashes, and do not admit their testimony ever after. They are indeed transgressors, [an-Noor 24:4]
