What are the rewards of standing in the first row during
salat?

Praise be to Allaah (swt)
Salat is obligatory on every adult Muslim, it’s very
essential to pray at is prescribed time. Going to pray in the first row will
benefit you an unimaginable and huge reward.
According to the saying of The
Prophet (pbuh) didn’t specifically state it rewards but he gave a riddle why
it’s important to be in the first row and be early to perform salat.
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (May Allaah be pleased with him)
that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Were
people to know the blessing of pronouncing Adhan and the standing in the first
row, they would even draw lots to secure these privileges. And were they to
realize the reward of performing Solaat early, they would race for it; and were
they to know the merits of Solaat after nightfall ('Isha') and the dawn (Fajr)
Solaat, they would come to them even if they had to crawl."
