Fasting
is among the five pillars of Islam and Muslims are obligated to fast during the
month of Ramadan. There are duas or prayers the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon
him) usually do before taking sahur and also after breaking the fast.
These
duas are essential for Muslims to break their fasting because it is the sunnah of our
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to utter this duas to earn reward from
Allah.
Below
are two duas to break your fast be it in the month of Ramadan or the sunnah
fasting (Monday’s and Thursdays). Note, only one of this duas is enough to
break your fast.
